VOLUNTEER AND VISITOR SITE
RLRS have had a really busy and productive time of late. We have applied for a grant to purchase equipment for our volunteers.
We now have a Volunteer and HQ indoor facility at the Dukesfield site, (see our NEWS tab on the Home Page). Work Parties are ongoing every weekend commencing 09:00am Saturday and Sunday. If you can spare an hour or so then it would be a good chance to meet up with our other volunteers/Trustees.
Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
Use the Facebook link for up to the minute information.
VOLUNTEER OF THE MOMENT
The Volunteers continuing their work on the weekend Work Parties at Dukesfield continue to be 'Volunteer of the Moment'.
One cannot stand out from another for this award, as their combined commitment and hard work continue to excel expectations of the RLRS Trustees.
Keep up the good work team!
For up to the minute information on the Volunteers' progress visit the Unlock Runcorn Volunteers facebook page.
Our Volunteer of the Moment is RLRS member Paul Wilks who has supplied several photographs of the sand infill of the locks we are working to restore. Thank you Paul for your generosity.

Pictured here on the left with Graham Wallace at 'The Big History Show and Exhibition' at St Georges Hall in April is Bill Hannah, a previous Volunteer of the Moment. A big thank you to Bill for volunteering to help with manning our stand and promoting Unlock Runcorn.
